Top of Borneo?
Kudat has the tips of Borneo, Pitas has the top of Borneo.
When JKK PUSPANITA Yayasan Sabah made a courtesy visit to PUSPANITA Cawangan Daerah PITAS on 25 February 2011, little was known about our destination let alone Kampung Malubang.
Our journey began with YBhg. Puan Sri Khairiah Khalil and 18 members on a long drive to PITAS and upon arrival at Pitas District Office, we had the warmest welcome by members of PUSPANITA Cawangan Daerah Pitas together with their Pengerusi who is none other than our very own staff of Forestry Division, Puan Siti Sheriffah Jabar Khan who is by the way is the wife of Tuan District Officer, Encik Sapdin Bin Ibrahim.
After having filled our tummies with the scrumptious lunch and knowledge about PITAS by Tuan DO, JKK PUSPANITA Yayasan Sabah made its first inaugural FUTSAL friendly against PUSPANITA PITAS. Sadly, we lost 4-1 but ironically without any training given as to how to kick a ball, our ladies made us proud by giving all out for the name of the game. We were treating to dinner, karaoke, dance and lucky draws by our wonderful hosts that night.
The morning is never complete without a trip to the “Tamu”. After an hour browsing and purchases, we made our way to Dataran Bengkoka and were greeted by Tuan DO and Puan Siti Sheriffah, Dr. Francis Paul, the Director of Hospital Pitas with an accompanying nurse, members of PUSPANITA Cawangan Daerah Pitas, Staff of Pitas District Office and members of the press.
It takes an hour boat ride to Kampung Malubang and along the way, one can see “bagang” as far as the eye can see.

We were greeted by Encik Mokthar Amirul, the Pengerusi of Jawatankuasa Kemajuan dan Keselamatan Kampung (JKKK) Malubang dan village headman, Encik Kampilu Bakar. It is no wander that Sabah has the best in hospitality. To commemorate the day, the traditional dance of Manuk-manuk Limbukun and exchange of mementos with the gratitude of Thank you.

| KAPAL SUPERAK : Legend has it that after defying his mother, Superak with his crew and his ship was cursed into stone just like in the Tales of Si Tanggang. |

| BATU BERUNCAI : This rock formation resembles people in a party of some sort. |

| BATU TUTUP DULANG : It is said to be the home of Superak's mother. |
 |
| BATU TIGA TALAM : This unexplained three (3) flatten rock formation formed over the years due to erosion and climate change. |

| BATU PINTU GUA : Legend was told that after a long wait for the return of her son Superak, his mother eventually turned into stone as well.
Next to the so call cave is the mysterious freshwater well that was build to capture its freshwater which its source comes from the seabed. It is said that there are 7 of these springs.

| TELAGA AIR TAWAR : Legend foretold that to be the tears of Superak's mother and the phenomena of having mysterious age-defying and health properties. |
Now we had our sights satisfied, now to feast your sight on………………..yes ! Tray loads of delicious big fleshy crabs caught the night before.
